WorldGold Executes Exploration Permit in KanKan Gold Mine
WorldGold team kicked off an exploration mission at their gold deposit in KanKan, East Guinea. The team has been diligently working and has reported some exciting results as they have found gold on what appears to be a very fruitful concession! The permitted land is in the Birrimian terrain and mirrors that of very large multi-million-once producing gold mines in the surrounding area.
The roadmap of their journey included:
Community relations - the team met with mining administrators and local community leaders to strengthen community relations in and around the permitted land.
Authenticate Reports - the team pulled the GPS coordinates of existing pits from previous permit holders and visited each location to authenticate previous data.
Pits for Sample Testing - the team dug a series of manual pits to pull samples to determine the potential yield from key areas of the permitted land.
Initial Operations Planning - the team roughed out an initial plan to move towards mining operations. Test work has confirmed possible high-yield recoveries achievable with simple crush-grind-float regrind CIL circuit.
Quartz Discoveries - The team pulled quartz rocks from a vein that is a result of hydrothermal activity and indicates that the gold has been carried in a solution associated with volcanic activity.
The teams, both abroad and in the U.S., are very excited with these laudable results. We look forward to sharing additional information as the team finishes their reports and findings.
